Booth F01
We're delighted to share Chemould CoLab’s first-ever participation at Frieze London, Focus Booth F01, where we will present a solo presentation of artist Jayeeta Chatterjee. Jayeeta’s presentation brings together four immersive textile works, woodcut prints on Nakshikantha embroidery and recycled sarees, alongside a series of five woodcuts on paper.
Across these works, Jayeeta explores the often-unseen labour of women as they navigate the delicate balance between work, family, domestic life, and social expectations. Through different narratives, compositions, and material approaches, she reflects on the everyday experiences of women as they negotiate the complex interplay of labour, care, identity, and agency.
