The piece is loosely based o the story of Somnium Scipionis by Cicero, in which a Roman general views the Earth from a cosmic perspective in a vivid dream. In this work, the protagonist awakens within a lucid dream space, where a prophecy is being revealed. Above is a stellar phenomenon taking place, borrowed from the Hubble space telescope image of a galaxy in the shape of a fingerprint.
