Woodcut Printing: Jayeeta Chatterjee

At Chemould CoLab we hosted a woodcut printing workshop with our artist in residence, Jayeeeta Chatterjee. In this three hour session participants were introduced to the basic techniques and the delicate process of creating a woodblock on ply, using hand carving tools. With oil-based inks the participants were guided to create their own prints to take home at the end of the workshop.
